In REDO for Positive Change & Transformation

Why Rebalance? Tending to the needs of each an essential area in your life will better enable you to live in poise, stability, and well- being.

Successfully juggling the demands in your personal and professional life may feel like a daunting and unrealistic task. Employers know all too well that if an employee’s personal life is suffering, their work life will too. And vise-versa. Even the most self-aware and diligent person can be challenged. How can you balance your life to prevent burnout and promote well-being?

10 Ways to Bring Rebalance Back

  1. Become self-aware and take an honest inventory of where the imbalances are occurring.
  2. Stop, breathe, and be mindful; live in the moment.
  3. Find your fun and relearn how to play and tinker.
  4. Schedule dedicated downtime to relax, reflect, regroup, recharge, and renew.
  5. Minimize contact with dream stompers, spirit suckers, energy busters, or those who live in continually high drama.
  6. Reorganize your priorities to make the best choices for whole health living.
  7. Exercise for energy, strength, stamina, and mental clarity.
  8. Spend quality time with loved ones.
  9. Volunteer to be in service to others who are less fortunate.
  10. Savor your blessings with humility and gratitude.

Areas of Imbalance

  • Time—do you have more things to do than you have time to do them?
  • Diet—do you moderate your intake with food and drink that replenishes your body or depletes it?
  • Priorities—are the most important things in your life taking a back seat to things that matter less?
  • Reciprocity—are you giving back as much as you are receiving?
  • Hormones— when hormones are out of balance, it impacts your health on all fronts. Does anything need attention for improved health?
  • Self-talk—is it more negative than positive? Is it full of self-doubt and self-recrimination? Are you overthinking?
  • Wanting vs. Having—happiness is not only about having what you want, but wanting what you have. Try to live in acceptance and appreciation for “what is,” not moping about “what isn’t.”

The Wheel of Life

Your well-being is a system comprised of many parts. When one part, or area, gets more attention than another, imbalance can impact the entire result. Smooth out the bumpy road by finding the balance needed to enjoy calming comfort and fulfillment.
