In RENEW for Positive Change & Transformation

Why Rebirth? Literature, philosophy, psychology, and spiritual traditions are replete with examples of the power of being born again to a new way of being to transform and enhance our experience of life.

Rebirth can be one of your most significant moments of transformation. While it is a mystical experience in spirituality and religion, the concept of rebirth represents the metamorphosis which is possible in everyone’s lives. For many, it is the ultimate renewal. It is transformative, and is for some, miraculous.

Butterflies are the symbol of rebirth, hope, new beginnings, and transformation. When a caterpillar goes into its chrysalis and re-emerges as a butterfly, it experiences a complete process of rebirth. It demonstrates how a living breathing organism is transformed into a completely new creation, yet has the same DNA. Every stage of development is necessary to bring a butterfly to its predetermined, glorious manifestation.

Gaining Strength from the Struggle

The rebirthing process is not without pain. When the butterfly is beginning to emerge reborn from the chrysalis, it has to fight to get out. The struggle is real and necessary. If you were to take a small knife to help create an opening in the chrysalis for the butterfly to escape, its existence would be short-lived. It is its struggle which strengthens its wings and fortifies it to thrive so that it can fly far and wide.

You too may go through stages of development which can lead to rebirth. Your greatest struggles may be your best teachers, in which you develop great wisdom and personal strength. Such dramatic growth experiences help lead you to your true purpose and personal renaissance.

Breaking out of your comfort zone, shedding the old layers, and stretching your potential may or may not help you become your best self, but the process will enable you to spread your wings and take flight. Quietly consider where you desire rebirth—physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
